Flat mates go through a lot together

Since most people have experienced the joys of living together with others, and the turbulence that comes with that, I thought it would make a great setting for a TTRPG. 

So gather a small group of friends, sit down around a table and pretend to be a colorful host of characters, sharing a flat.

Themes

Differing World Views

Cohabitation is best suited to playing characters of different ideoloies and world views. Some of them might be completely contrary to what you are and beleive in in real life. It's a game where the fun lies in justifying and understanding other's views.

Every Day Struggles

The toilet is clogged again, who has to fix it? Simple questions like that need answering. It's a good way to have light hearted discussions that bring out the differences between characters.

Political Activism

You play a group of likely young active people with little to loose (I mean worst case you'll just move back to your parents) and everything to gain if society was just a little bit better. While this theme is not necessarily baked into the system, I highly encourage GMs to delve into it, to up the stakes.

Mechanics

Roll Under

For checks you roll 2D10 and addd them together. The lower, the better. Your characters attributes represent them in the mechanics, and you roll to see if they are able to apply their abilites, or are stopped by factors outside of their control.

Debates & Arguments

There is no mechanic for fighting, but there is a turn based system for debates. Every turn, bring up an argument that undermines the opponents position. If you argue in line with your ideology, you get a bonus.
